Stop Wasting Your Stale GF Bagels – Make These Instead!
Hi Bakers, Don’t be like me and forget your gluten-free bagels in the fridge...
But IF you do? Congrats—you’re halfway to these crispy, golden, air fryer bagel chips! Gluten-free bread goes stale fast, and it’s way too expensive to toss. So instead of trashing it, I turned my sad bagels into the perfect crunchy snack—ready in minutes and amazing with dip (or on their own!). Not rocket science, just delicious. Enjoy! ~Carolyn
Air Fryer Bagel Chips (Gluten-Free)
Ingredients:
- 1 Canyon Bakehouse Everything Bagel (or any GF bagel)
- 1 tbsp melted butter or vegan butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Slice the bagel thinly and evenly.
- Mix melted butter and olive oil. Brush both sides of each slice.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes per side, or until golden and crisp.
- ⚠️ Watch closely—these brown fast!
- Cool on a rack. Store in an airtight container for up to 1–2 days.
No Air Fryer?
Bake at 350°F on a cookie sheet for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until fully crisp.
