A food idea you probably haven’t had…but are you even adventurous enough to try it? It was called the Moroccan and it combined sweet, tangy and salty perfectly onto a cheesy pizza. This blend of flavors is unusually addictive and will keep you reaching for slice after slice. My dupe for this recipe is quickly made using premade TJ’s gluten-free pizza dough. It is tasty but a bit challenging to roll out. Here is how I did it. I found all the ingredients at Trader Joes but most can be found in any grocery store.
Roll out the pizza dough thinly and top with pesto, 4 cheese Italian blend, thinly sliced sweet onions, feta cheese crumbles, fresh sliced figs and pine nuts. Bake as directed and immediately add dots of balsamic vinegar glaze, baby arugula and pomegranate arils to the top.
