This isn’t caramel. Make everything a cinnamon roll or at least taste like it. All the gooey goodness of cinnamon roll filling is in this simple syrup that can be vegan too! Butter, brown sugar, lots of cinnamon and some maple syrup ramps up your oatmeal, yogurt, pancakes or waffles in one easy addition. It takes minutes to prepare and stores well in the fridge. Once it’s cold, you can spread it on toast or bagels with cream cheese for quick cinnamon roll flavor. You need to make this but try not to eat it all with a spoon!
Cinnamon Roll Syrup/Spread
(makes enough for two servings or one if you keep tasting it!)
Microwave or heat on the stove 2 tablespoons of butter or @miyokos plant butter stick, 4 tablespoons of light brown sugar, 4 tablespoons of maple syrup, a pinch of salt and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Heat while stirring until it is bubbling and thickens into a syrup. This takes a few minutes. Use immediately or store in the fridge covered for up to a week. Reheat in microwave to use as syrup. Use cold as a spread for the best cinnamon toast ever. I like to top my pancakes and french toast with a bit of softened cream cheese too for even more cinnamon roll experience.#shorts #cinnamonroll #syrup #easy #glutenfree #foodvideos #breakfastsofinstagram #breakfast #wheatfreelife #celiacfriendly #vegan
