Gluten-Free Meatballs Beef or Turkey
Recipe modified from Giada De Laurentis recipe for Beef Meatballs.
heaping 1/2 cup gluten-free bread bits or @4foods gluten-free Panko bread crumbs
1 large egg
2-3 tablespoons milk (add greater amount if its too dry)
1/2 cup whole milk ricotta or cottage cheese
2/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 LB ground turkey or beef
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until mixed. Shape or scoop mixture into 2 tablespoon-sized balls and place on a lined tray. For turkey meat balls, be sure to brush or spray them with oil so they brown well. Set air fryer to 400F and line with a piece of parchment paper. Bake for about 15 minutes turning once half way through. Enjoy!
Oven directions if you don’t have an air fryer
Preheat the oven to 400F. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until mixed. Shape or scoop mixture into 2 tablespoon-sized balls and place on a lined tray.For turkey meat balls, I brush or spray them with some oil so they brown well. Bake for about 20 minutes. Place under the broiler, and carefully brown the meatballs for a few minutes but be sure to watch them!
