Too many?? Gluten-Free Soft Herb Butter Breadsticks are too good judging from the four I just ate! This recipe is easy to make and you end up with the softest most delicious breadsticks ever. Make Caupto gluten-free flour’s recipe on the bag for focaccia and then follow my directions below to make this yummy variation. You can make it vegan by skipping Parmesan cheese and using my favorite @miyokos vegan butter. These are gluten-free but you would never know it! IMPORTANT! If you have a wheat allergy, this flour is made with wheat starch but still gluten-free. Please be safe and check out if you are able to use this flour or not.
Herb Butter
1/2 cup melted butter or vegan butter
3 teaspoons fresh chopped oregano and thyme or other fresh herbs
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon @traderjoes 21 Season Salute
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
optional: parmesan cheese shreds
Preheat the oven to 375F. Make focaccia recipe on the flour bag. Let rise for 40 minutes. Pat dough out into a rough rectangle about 10” x 20” on a floured counter. Spread most of the herb butter over the surface of the dough. Use a pizza cutter to cut dough into inch wide strips and cut each strip in half so that you have two shorter strips.. transfer strip onto baking sheet and twist into the shape you want. Bake for about 10 minutes or until dough springs back when touched. If desired, brush with extra butter and sprinkle with cheese. Broil on low a few minutes until browned. Enjoy!
