This is not my usual gluten-free flour, so when my Dad bought me a big bag I wasn’t sure what to do with it! Now, I’m excited to make this bread because I really enjoyed eating it. I made an easy, rustic, gluten-free yeast bread(it’s vegan too) with @namaste flour. Big thanks to YouTube Channel Cooking with the Coias for the recipe! Here were my results…
The loaf was an artisan style bread and had a very crunchy exterior with a chewy well-flavored inside. I would have liked a less dense crumb but that may have been my fault because I should have waited longer before cutting a slice! The irresistible pull of a hot loaf of bread was too much temptation and I cut into it 15 minutes early. A longer rise in the future also may help with the density. All in all, this was a fun and tasty experiment that was really simple to make. The hardest part was being patient during the 3-4 hour rise time. Try this bake and get a nice bread that’s perfect for garlic bread, toast or hot by the slice with a pat of butter.
