Final Verdict: Gluten-Free Bread Test #4 – Does Bread with Mashed Potato stay moist?
This is the follow-up to my Day 1 video — I tested how well my artisan gluten-free loaf holds up after 2 days, using Caputo gluten-free flour + mashed potato to fight the crumbly curse.
Day 2 Results:
Untoasted:
- [x] Not crumbly
- [x] Crust still a bit crusty
❌ Too tough to enjoy
Toasted (Recommended):
- [x] Crust: extra crispy
- [x] Flavor shines through
- [x] Texture: moist & chewy
Final verdict: Potato works! It doesn’t solve everything, but it adds moisture, flavor, and keeps the loaf from turning into gluten-free dust… I’m calling this a win!
