* 1–1½ cups ice
* 2 chai or black tea bags, steeped in 1 cup hot water (5 mins)
* 1 cup milk, frothed or foamed
* 1–2 Tbsp Spiced Apple Syrup (recipe below)
To assemble:In a large glass, add the pearls and 1–2 Tbsp of syrup. Add ice, pour the steeped tea over it, and top with foamed milk. Finish with a drizzle of syrup and enjoy every sip!
Spiced Apple Syrup (makes enough for several drinks):
* 1 (12 oz) can frozen apple juice concentrate
* ¼ cup light brown sugar
* ½ tsp cinnamon
* ½ tsp ground ginger
* ¼ tsp cloves
* ¼ tsp allspice
* ½ tsp vanilla extract
* ½ cinnamon stick
Directions:Combine all syrup ingredients in a wide saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for ~5 minutes, stirring often, until it thickens to a syrup. Let cool. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
