Great Grandma's Peanut Butter Fudge!

Hi Bakers, You need one pan and 3 ingredients...Is this 78 year old recipe still worth making? This Homemade candy is from 1945 is delicious and ready to eat in about 15 minutes! Great Grandma Flora’s Peanut Butter fudge is full of peanut flavor, naturally gluten-free, and contains just three ingredients. It can be made vegan too! I used some @chobani creamy oat milk today. I hope you enjoy this recipe that my family has loved for many years.~Carolyn
Great Grandma Flora’s Peanut Butter Fudge from 1945
2 cups powdered sugar
2 heaping tablespoons of traditional peanut butter (this is about 1/4 cup)
1/2 cup milk or plant milk
Add ingredients to a medium saucepan and boil for a full five minutes stirring constantly over medium heat. The mixture should be thickened a bit. Stir just until it loses its sheen and is dull. This is when the tiny sugar crystals are forming that make the fudge thicken up. Immediately, pour into a greased or lined pan and spread to the desired thickness. Let cool and cut into squares. Enjoy!
